Meet Captain Terry Martin
Captain Terry Martin has spent his life on the waters of Florida’s Gulf Coast, and his roots in Carrabelle, FL fishing run deep. Growing up around the bays, rivers, and open Gulf, he developed a natural connection to the sea and a passion for fishing that turned into a lifelong career. With decades of experience navigating these waters, Captain Terry has learned the subtle patterns of the tides, the seasonal movements of fish, and the best local fishing hotspots that make Carrabelle such a special destination.
As a guide, Captain Terry is known for his patience, expertise, and ability to make every trip enjoyable. Whether he’s introducing a child to their first family-friendly fishing adventure or coaching an experienced angler in the fight against a powerful trophy fish, he brings the same level of enthusiasm and care. Guests often describe him as approachable, knowledgeable, and dedicated to ensuring everyone leaves with both great memories and a better understanding of Gulf Coast fishing.
Beyond his skills as a fisherman, Captain Terry has built a reputation as a teacher on the water. He takes the time to explain fishing techniques, answer questions, and share insights about local species such as Red Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, and Black Seabass. His goal isn’t just to put guests on fish, but to give them an authentic, hands-on experience that feels both exciting and educational. For many, fishing with him becomes more than just a trip—it’s an opportunity to connect with the Gulf and learn from someone who has spent a lifetime studying it.
